About our program
Right Steps Creasy is located on Lafayette’s east side surrounded by shopping centers, hospitals, and a variety of businesses. A bus stop nearby gives families using public transportation convenient access. Our proximity to and relationship with Bennett’s Greenhouse gives the children the unique opportunity to learn about plants and nature.
Other benefits of the center include a sensory/motor multipurpose room that helps support childrens’ social/emotional needs. The room includes social/emotional books, a listening center, fun gross motor (or body movement) activities, and other tools to help teach children to regulate their emotions.
When the weather doesn’t cooperate, we use the multipurpose room, as well as our hallways, to set up obstacle courses, games, a sensory path, and other activities to get children moving and feeling healthy during the day.
