Our Teachers
Our staff are highly trained, long-time childcare and educational professionals. All lead teachers have an associate degree or higher. Assistant teachers and lead teachers complete ongoing trainings throughout the year and are each required to complete 20 hours of professional development each year. Our staff are CPR certified and we have an on-site school nurse as well for emergencies. Most of all, our teaching staff LOVE working with young learners to help them achieve their goals!
Philosophy
Little Bronchos Preschool believes that every child deserves an affordable, high-quality education. We believe that children deserve to be spoken to and treated with respect by their peers and teachers. It is our school’s responsibility to present our young learners with a wide range of academic areas of study, social-emotional coaching and self-soothing practices, and pro-social behavioral lessons.
We make accommodations for students with special needs and partner with G.L.A.S.S’s specialists such as Speech and Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Behavioral Therapists, and Deaf and Hard of Hearing sign language interpreters, and more. These services are offered at our school, during the school day.
Two of our eleven staff members speak fluent Spanish with several others are learning the language. We utilize sign language in the classroom for all students.
Location
Our school is housed inside of Linnwood Developmental Preschool - Greater Lafayette Area Special Services. We love involving our student’s families in community outreach projects and community celebrations such as “Trunk or Treat,” “Grandparents Day,” and other holiday and special events.
About our program
At Little Bronchos Preschool we believe in supporting the whole family and not just our students. We love working in connection with our students families to better serve their child in their education and growth! We use Creative Curriculum, conduct STEAM activities daily, and use Conscious Discipline strategies and language to help our students learn positive social and emotional skills.
