Our Teachers
Every classroom is supported by a teacher and paraprofessional. Every teacher has a degree in early childhood, elementary education, or related field and holds an active State of Indiana Teaching License. Every paraprofessional is working towards, or already has an active CDA, or a higher degree related to early childhood education.
Philosophy
At KSC Head Start, we work to empower our children and families through education. To do this we involve our families and the community in creating a solid foudation for our children through a quality early childhood program. Families may begin the application process online at dchs.kokomoschools.com, or by stopping by our main site (900 S Goyer) in Kokomo or our outreach site (515 N Wayne St) in Peru to pick up an application packet.
