Nuestros profesores

Jennifer Toby With over 15 total years experience working with children, she is passionate and knowledgeable in infant and toddler development. She is loved by her kiddos and believes independence and communication skills are key to happy children. We teach sign from an early age and emphasize vocabulary and word usage with play based learning. Safety is extremely important to our program and we love having families involved in their development.

Lance Sorrels

New to child care and education he found a passion. With 2 years experience he may be new but he is adored by the kids! A drummer by night he loves incorporating music and dance into the daily routine. He is very hands on and excited to get down on the floor and play with the kids on their level. He ensures they have plenty of outdoor play, and fun!

Caleb Brady

The son of Jennifer Toby, and a life guard he was raised helping out with childcare and loves children! He is CPR and first aide certified, as are all of our teachers, and brings a youthfulness to their learning that makes everything fun! He is only 17, but is an excellent helper when needed and parents and kids alike love him!

Filosofía

Family childcare in a “home like” setting is the best alternative there is for working parents. It provides a secure environment for children during the most important time of their development. Family childcare offers a home away from home, providing children with “siblings” of all ages, to play, socialize, and learn from. My goal in providing quality childcare for your child is to provide…

☺ A safe environment

☺ A nurturing environment

☺ A learning environment: learning is not just the ABC’s and 123’s, but is also the learning of values. The learning of honesty, respect, self–reliance, and independence, self-discipline, and moderation, the values of being dependable, love, sensitivity to others, kindness, friendliness, and fairness are the values of giving. We are a play based style learning center.

☺ A proper approach to discipline… Since children occasionally need discipline, it is important that you and I share a similar philosophy so that your child is not too confused as to where the boundaries are and what is expected of him/her. Children are taught which behaviors are inappropriate, and why, and given alternatives that are acceptable. In this way, the behavior is being changed, without making the child feel “bad” or unloved. This helps develop their self-esteem, and teaches them how to handle difficult situations themselves in the future. I express my disapproval (without attacking character). I state my expectations and show your child how to make amends. I give choices, and in some situations a child will be given a “time out” to consider their choices. We do not tolerate any aggressive or dangerous behavior.

Ubicación

We are located in a safe and established neighborhood, with a park like setting at the end of a cul de sac. We are great location close to the highway and main roads.
