Our Teachers
Hi, I am Shawntia Johnson, co-owner and founder of TeeNee Tiny Footprints Daycare, LLC.
I know firsthand how difficult it can be to find affordable, trustworthy childcare because I was once a single mom in that exact situation. I remember the stress, the guilt, and the constant worry of whether my child was safe and cared for while I worked or went to school. That experience stayed with me, and it sparked something in me: a deep desire to create a space where parents could feel confident and at peace leaving their children.
From the beginning, my goal has been simple to be that support system for families. I wanted to build a place where children are not only safe and nurtured, but where they can grow, learn, and feel loved every single day. A place that feels like a second home.
What keeps me going is knowing that I’m making a difference—not just in the lives of the children, but in the lives of their families. I feel honored to be an intricate part of my community, helping parents pursue their goals, knowing their children are in good hands.
Every smile, every hug, every little milestone I witness reminds me why I do this. Being a part of each child’s journey is a gift, and I’m so proud to be walking alongside them as they grow.
Philosophy
Our Philosophy at TeeNee Tiny Footprints Daycare, we believe that every child is unique and deserves a safe, nurturing environment where they can learn, explore, and grow at their own pace. We are committed to providing a warm and supportive atmosphere where children feel valued and encouraged. Through play-based learning, structured activities, and hands-on experiences, we foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. We emphasize kindness, respect, and cooperation, helping children build meaningful relationships and develop essential life skills.
Our caregivers are dedicated to creating a loving, inclusive environment where diversity is celebrated, and every child feels a sense of belonging. We partner with families to ensure open communication and a shared commitment to each child’s growth and wellbeing.
