Our Teachers
Hi there! My name is Evelyn Evans, and I have been working in child care for 19 years now. It all started when I began working as a teacher in a program called Alternative School. As I spent more and more time working with children, I began to notice a growing need for early childcare in my area. This realization led me to start my own program, which has been a dream come true.
Working with children has always been a passion of mine. I enjoy seeing the growth and development of each and every student, and there is nothing more rewarding than helping new families reach their potential as healthy, loving families.
Over the years, I have gained a wealth of knowledge and experience working with children of all ages, from infants to school-aged children. I take great pride in providing a safe and nurturing environment where children can learn and thrive.
My approach to child care is centered around building strong relationships with both the children and their families. I believe that communication and collaboration are key to ensuring the best possible outcomes for each child in my care.
It brings me so much joy to see the smiles on the faces of the children I work with each day. I am grateful for the opportunity to make a positive impact on their lives and the lives of their families. Child care is not just a job to me, it is a calling, and I feel blessed to be able to do what I love every day.
Location
New Beginnings is located on the west side of Haughville. It’s a great location, and I’m proud to say that we’re right across the street from the Haughville library.
I love being situated in this area, as it’s easily accessible for parents who live or work in the west side of Haughville. Plus, having the library so close by is a wonderful resource for our kids and families. We often take field trips over there to explore new books, attend storytime, or even participate in some of the library’s educational programs.
The neighborhood itself is lovely and full of friendly people. It’s a safe area with plenty of sidewalks and crosswalks, which makes walking to and from our center a breeze. And with the library being right across the street, it’s easy for parents to drop off and pick up their children on their way to or from work or errands.
Overall, I couldn’t be happier with our location here in Haughville. New Beginnings is truly a great place to learn and grow, and we’re proud to be part of such a wonderful community.
About our program
At New Beginnings, we are committed to working with both parents and children to provide comprehensive support for their economic and health needs.
What sets us apart is our dedication to helping parents find grants and other resources that can positively impact both their child’s life and their own. We understand that the wellbeing of the family unit is interconnected and strive to create a supportive environment that recognizes this fact.
Our approach to childcare is centered around the best interests of each individual child and their parents. We take the time to get to know each family and tailor our services to their specific needs. By understanding the unique challenges and goals of each family, we can develop a plan that supports them in achieving their aspirations.
One of our top priorities is preparing children for the transition into kindergarten. We believe that this transition should be as effortless as possible, which is why we work with parents to identify the best approach for each child. We understand that each child is different and requires a personalized approach to learning and development.
At New Beginnings, we pride ourselves on our commitment to supporting families holistically. By working with both parents and children, we strive to create a nurturing environment that promotes growth and success for everyone.
