Our Teachers

My name is Ms. Jodi and I am 56 years old. My husband Charley and I work together to make My Little Monkeys a safe, loving atmosphere. I have over 34 years experience in the childcare field, and I have an Associate’s Degree in Child development. Both my husband and I are trained in Safe Sleep, Child Abuse and Neglect, Universal Precautions. I am also trained in CPR and First Aid. Charley and I have been married for almost 32 years and have 2 grown sons and 1 grandson.

Philosophy

I believe in a hands-on approach to learning and meeting each child where they are. I also believe that each child is a unique individual and that all children can grow and learn when given the opportunity to explore their environment. I believe in meeting each child where they are and helping them develop at their own pace. I believe that children learn best within boundaries and with a structured schedule. My goal is to provide excellence in my “whole child” program. I believe my program will help your child develop academically, emotionally, socially and spiritually.

Location

My Little Monkeys Preschool is located just 2 miles west of the 135, and less than a mile north of Southport road between Banta and Edgewood. It is a very peaceful neighborhood in a single family home. We are near Glenns Valley, close to I69 & I465. We are close to Rosa Parks Elementary, Glenns Valley Elementary, and Abe Lincoln Elementary.

About our program

At My Little Monkeys Preschool in Indianapolis, my curriculum is Christian, theme based and developmentally appropriate. Our day is divided into learning centers in which the children explore, learn and play. I strongly believe in a hands-on approach to learning.
