Our Teachers
Monica Jones the owner and primary caregiver chose this journey after being a teacher assistant for IPS back in the early 90’s, seeing many children struggling to master the material being taught. It is my strong belief that all children can master the skills and knowledge when given the tools they need to be successful. In 2023 I decided to enroll in the Early Childhood Education program at Indiana Wesleyan University. In hopes of becoming a licensed preschool teacher for the most vulnerable child on the far eastside of Indianapolis.
Philosophy
My Clubhouse is continually creating an environment that welcomes peace, safety, and the excitement of being who you are at this moment; while developing full understanding of the educational, physical, and social skills being taught. At the heart of our program, we are committed to help each child thrive through:
- Personalized learning experiences
- Structured support for positive behavior
- Emotional security and confidence
About our program
We recognize play as children’s work. It is through play that children “make sense” of the world around them. We offer many learning activities in “play-like” centers that focus on kinetic, visual and auditory development.
