Jackie White, Director

Jackie graduated from Purdue University in 2001 with a degree in Early Childhood Education and Exceptional Needs and a Specialization in Child Health. She has been instrumental in the success of Reggio-inspired preschool programs in Indianapolis since 2005. She has found a niche in creating excellent early childhood programs for children ages 3 month-5 years at local high schools. These programs provide much needed high-quality early education and care for the educators of the high school as well as give both groups of students unique opportunities to learn from each other. Jackie leads a team of qualified, dedicated and nurturing educators who believe children are competent and capable with their own unique gifts to add to the world.

Cathedral Irish Blessings exists to teach each child they are a child of God. Our mission is to be a Faith focused early childhood center with a close-knit family environment. Irish Blessings is dedicated to serving families of Cathedral High School employees as well as those of the greater Cathedral community and is committed to providing early care and education through a flexible, project-based curriculum. The growth and development it will nurture in each individual child will contribute to the spirit of the Cathedral school community while preparing the children to be well-rounded people of faith and inspired life-long learners.

We are located on Cathedral High School’s beautiful campus. We are blessed to be a part of the Cathedral community. In addition to our three indoor classrooms, we are able to take advantage of the outdoor spaces on campus to give the Irish Blessings wider spaces to play and explore. We love our playground and dedicated outdoor classroom but also enjoy running and playing on the football field, the softball field, the nature trail and the courtyard hill.
