Formally a healthcare professional working cardiac nursing and cardiac sonography for 17yrs. I currently hold my CDA in teaching. With a strong foundation in childhood development, my experience working in child care has been incredibly fulfilling and enriching. Every day presents new opportunities to witness the growth and development of young minds, and I am grateful to play a role in shaping their early experiences. From fostering social skills through group activities to implementing age-appropriate educational strategies, I am dedicated to providing a nurturing environment where children can thrive. Through observation, communication, and empathy, I strive to tailor my approach to meet the unique needs of each child, recognizing the importance of fostering both their cognitive and emotional development.
Philosophy
In my child care approach, hands-on learning and exploration are paramount. I believe that children learn best when they are actively engaged in the world around them, so I design activities and experiences that encourage them to explore, experiment, and discover. Whether it’s sensory play, outdoor adventures, or creative arts and crafts, I prioritize providing opportunities for children to use their senses and engage in meaningful, experiential learning. By fostering a hands-on environment, I aim to ignite their curiosity, promote problem-solving skills, and instill a lifelong love for learning. Through this approach, children not only gain knowledge and skills but also develop a sense of wonder and confidence in their abilities to navigate and understand the world.

Located in Hobart, Destiny Kidz Childcare provides a supportive atmosphere where children thrive. We use one of the best curriculums in the state! Our program fosters independence and social skills through interactive experiences. With a focus on hands-on learning, we specialize in nurturing early childhood development.
