Hi there, my name is Octavia, and I have been working in childcare since 1992. Over the years, I have gained a wealth of experience in nurturing and educating young minds. What I enjoy most about working with children is discovering how each student has their own unique personality and character. It’s fascinating to watch them grow and develop as individuals, and I take great pleasure in helping them along that journey. One thing I have learned is that every child learns in their own way. Some are visual learners, while others prefer a more hands-on approach. As a childcare provider, it’s my job to identify the learning style of each child and tailor my teaching methods to suit their individual needs. I believe that by providing a supportive and stimulating environment, I can help children reach their full potential. Whether it’s through storytelling, creative play, or structured activities, I always strive to make learning a fun and enjoyable experience for my students. Working in childcare is a rewarding experience, and I feel privileged to have had the opportunity to help shape the lives of so many young children over the years. It’s a career that I am truly passionate about, and I look forward to continuing to make a positive impact on the lives of the children I work with.

As a family childcare provider, my philosophy centers around play-based learning. In my childcare, I also emphasize the importance of social and emotional development. I encourage children to communicate their feelings and ideas, and I offer guidance and support as they learn to navigate their relationships with others. I believe that fostering positive relationships with peers and adults is essential for children’s overall well-being and success.

What makes our program unique is our philosophy, which focuses on play-based learning and exploration. We believe that children learn best through play and by exploring their environment, so we provide lots of opportunities for our little ones to do just that. We also love to celebrate all of our students’ graduations, big and small. Whether it’s moving up to a new age group or completing a milestone like potty training, we think it’s important to acknowledge and celebrate our little ones’ accomplishments. And speaking of celebrations, we also love to host BBQs for our families and new potential families. We think it’s important to build a sense of community and create opportunities for our families to connect with each other. Overall, we’re committed to providing a warm and nurturing environment where our little ones can learn and grow through play and exploration. We believe that every child is unique and has something special to offer, and we’re here to help them discover and develop their unique talents and abilities.
