Hi, my name is Tracy Renfro, and I’ve been working in childcare for 29 years now. It all started when I became a nanny for a family, and I absolutely loved the experience of taking care of children. That’s when I decided to pursue a career in childcare and started working in different childcares. Working in childcare has been such a fulfilling journey for me. I enjoy teaching and watching my students grow and learn about the world around them. It’s a joy to see their faces light up when they learn something new or accomplish a task they’ve been working hard on. Through my years of experience, I’ve gained a lot of knowledge and skills in working with children of different ages and backgrounds. I’ve learned how to create a safe and nurturing environment that encourages learning and development. My passion for childcare led me to open my own childcare center. It was a dream come true, and I put in a lot of hard work and dedication to make it a success. It’s been an incredible journey, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of so many children and families. Overall, I feel incredibly blessed to have had such a rewarding career in childcare. The relationships I’ve built with the children and families I’ve worked with over the years have been truly special, and I look forward to continuing to make a difference in the lives of children for many more years to come.

As a caregiver, my philosophy centers around creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the development of children. I believe that children are unique individuals who learn and grow at their own pace, and it is my role to facilitate this process. Currently, I am in the process of adopting a Montessori philosophy mixed with a play-based philosophy. I believe that combining these two approaches will provide the best possible environment for children to learn, grow, and thrive. Incorporating Montessori principles, such as encouraging self-directed learning, using natural materials, and promoting independence, will empower children to explore and learn in a way that is natural and engaging for them. At the same time, incorporating play-based learning, which focuses on socialization, creativity, and exploration, will help children develop their social and emotional skills, while also allowing them to have fun and enjoy their childhood.

Hi there, welcome to Renfro’s Day Camp, my family childcare program! We are excited to offer a fun and enriching experience for children in a warm, safe, and nurturing environment. Our program is located in a cozy family home near the Indiana Tech Warrior park and Donald Ross Golf Club, making us easily accessible to families in the area. At Renfro’s Day Camp, we provide a secure and spacious enclosed backyard for our students to enjoy outdoor activities and explore nature. We understand the importance of physical activity and fresh air for growing children, and we strive to make our outdoor space a fun and safe place for them to play and learn. Our upstairs area is dedicated to our program and has been carefully designed to provide a creative and educational environment for children. From arts and crafts to music and games, our space offers a variety of activities that encourage imagination, exploration, and discovery. At Renfro’s Day Camp, we believe in building strong relationships with families and the community. We value open communication and work closely with parents to provide individualized care and meet the unique needs of each child in our program. We are committed to providing a safe, fun, and engaging experience for all children who join us at Renfro’s Day Camp. We provide childcare services for children of all ages, and we pride ourselves on offering a play-based environment that encourages growth and development. In addition to playtime, we also offer a pre-k curriculum that helps children prepare for their academic journey. We believe that learning should be fun, and we strive to provide a fun and educational experience for all the children in our care. As a family childcare provider, we are constantly learning and growing ourselves. We are committed to staying up-to-date with the latest best practices in childcare and providing a safe and nurturing environment for all of our children. One of the things that makes our daycare unique is that we are now in our 30th year of providing childcare services. This is our 3rd generation of families, and we are proud to have served so many families over the years. We feel like we have become a part of the community, and we love being able to watch the children in our care grow up and succeed. In conclusion, we are passionate about what we do, and we are committed to providing a high-quality childcare experience for all of the families in our community.
