Our Teachers
Jasmine Merriweather, Director In 2014, Jasmine decided to take a leap of faith and start her own childcare program after having a hard time finding childcare for her own children. Its become one of her biggest passions in life. Her favorite thing about what she does is developing relationships with the children that she teaches and her families. She believes that having a family dynamic encourages positive relationships. Those positive relationships foster mutual trust and emotional support, which aid in a solid and supportive foundation in the early years.
Philosophy
Our program is all about providing all of the children in our care a clean, safe, and loving environment where they can learn, play, and grow together. Our children mainly learn through play. Play is critical to growth and development of children. Toys are fun, but they are actually tools that help children learn about themselves and the world around them. As they play they learn to solve problems, to get along with others, and to develop the fine and gross motor skills needed to grow.
Location
We are located in the park forest neighborhood in a single family home with a privacy fence for backyard play. We’ve converted the garage space and dining room space to accommodate the children.
