Our Teachers
I have over 30 years in the childcare industry. I started out babysitting then I worked for a country club in the kids room and summer camp. From there I became a preschool teachers assistant at a childcare center and a home daycare. Then I was a nanny for 5 years before starting my home daycare. I’ve been running my home Daycare for 20 years, 2 years being licensed. So I absolutely love taking care of children! ❤️
Philosophy
Here at Orange Blossom Childcare we believe that children are individuals and learn in different ways. Some learn through play, socializing or circle time. While others are more hands on and learn through creating during arts and craft time. At Orange Blossom Childcare we strive to have a flexible, loving home like environment while still maintaining a structured day and curriculum.
Location
The Woodberry neighborhood is a lovely safe neighborhood. With a wooded walking path that goes straight to our brand new playground. There is also 2 other smaller playgrounds across and down the street from my home. Another great thing about our location is, we’re one street away from State Road 37/69.
About our program
I teach the Mothergoose Time Preschool Curriculum. And I have the field trips come to us. First example every year we have the firemen come out with their firetruck, Liz from For the birds brings her birds from her bird rehabilitation center and educates the children on birds. Santa and Mrs. Clause come for a visit, and Hedge hog Hanna. And much more!
