Our Teachers

Our teachers are all certified through the state of Indiana. They are required to continue their education annually by taking 12 hours of classes each year.

Philosophy

At A Place To Grow Daycare, we believe in the power of play as a fundamental tool for early childhood education. Our philosophy centers around providing a play-based learning environment where children can explore, discover, and grow at their own pace.

We recognize that play is the natural way in which children learn about themselves, others, and the world around them. Through play, children engage in meaningful interactions, problem-solving, creativity, and critical thinking. Play allows children to make connections, express themselves, and develop a strong sense of curiosity and wonder.

In our play-based approach, we provide a range of developmentally appropriate activities and materials that encourage hands-on exploration and imaginative play. We believe that children learn best when they are actively involved in their own learning process. By providing a rich and stimulating environment, we foster the development of essential skills such as cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.

Location

Our daycare and preschool is a single family home, secluded on the westside of Evansville off of mesker park dr. Where neighbors have goats, chickens, and cows and only 2 miles from mesker park zoo.

About our program

Welcome to A Place To Grow Daycare And Preschool in Evansville! We are a leading childcare and early education center dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for children to learn, grow, and thrive.

At A Place To Grow, we understand the importance of early childhood development and the impact it has on a child’s future. With this in mind, we have created a warm and loving space where children feel safe and supported as they explore the world around them.

Our team of experienced and passionate educators is committed to fostering a love for learning in every child. We believe that children learn best through play, so we have designed our curriculum to be engaging, hands-on, and age-appropriate. Through a combination of structured activities and free play, we promote the development of essential skills such as problem-solving, communication, creativity, and social interaction.
