Philosophy

At Growing Kids we focus on the complete child. Each teacher works hard to help kids grow intellectually, emotionally and socially. Our curriculum for early childhood offers stimulating learning opportunities for students of every age, starting at six weeks and continuing through after-school age. A central part to our educational program is that young children learn through active, hands on play. They learn real-life lessons through everyday play.

About our program

All Growing Kids centers are state-licensed, nationally accredited and participate in the Paths to Quality program. We are family owned and operated providing care for over 25 years. The best way to describe our commitment to our enrolled families is to Protect-Educate-Inspire young children. We’re committed to providing early childhood care and education in a clean, safe environment, with structured educational activities to develop every child’s natural enthusiasm and curiosity.

At Growing Kids we teach language arts, math, science, social studies, music, art and social emotional development to all ages through our play-based curriculum.

We incorporate natural elements into our program with more reality-based experiences. This includes a natural outdoor area for the kids to interact with their environment.

The more well-known and favorite part of the program is Main Street, which features the look of a small town constructed for little ones in mind. The children work on motor skills, interactive play, problem-solving skills and make-believe activities.

At Growing Kids we celebrate many events and accomplishments throughout the year. Families are welcome to join us for things like Mothers’ Day and Father’s Day parties, 4th of July parade, Valentines Day and more. In addition to classroom parties Growing Kids has four school -wide events throughout the year. We host a Spring Fling, Summer Party, Halloween Fun House and a Holiday Program. Family and friends are invited to join the entire school community. It strengthens the children’s connection between home and school, plus creates great childhood memories!
