Director, Amanda Clapp has 20+ years of experience working in the field of Early Childhood Education. 3 of these years were spent working for the state of Indiana as a Child Care Licensing Consultant. During this time she realized there was a lack of quality childcare within her community. Born and raised in Columbus, she wanted more for the kids within her hometown.
Amanda and her team are dedicated to providing a high-quality childcare environment that nurtures the “Whole Child.” This way your child effortlessly grows physically, emotionally, socially, intellectually, and spiritually.

At Bright Start Child Care Ministry, our mission is to provide a high-quality child care environment that nurtures the “Whole Child”. Children will learn and grow in an environment that encourages their development - physically, emotionally, socially, intellectually and spiritually.
Location
We are centrally located in the city of Columbus making for easy access. We are near Smith and Parkside Elementary Schools, North Side Middle School, and Columbus North High School.
