Our Teachers

Jamie Cook, Director

Jamie is a lifelong member of the Brookston community. She has a genuine desire to provide high-quality, yet fun, youth services in the community. Since 2022, Jamie has continued to broaden BASE Programs and expand availability beyond the immediate community. Her favorite thing about what she does is developing relationships with the children that she teaches and their families. She believes that small class size and the development of a strong community allow her and her team to really know each child as an individual and to provide a solid and supportive foundation in the early years.

Philosophy

Our program operates alongside, and with the support of, our public school to ensure we are working towards meeting education standards outside of school. We work with children on literacy and mathematical skills as well as, emotional-social learning, physical education and STEM.
