Nuestros profesores
Our director has a Master’s degree in Education and over 20 years of experience in raising and teaching children. Infants gets lots of holding and attention. We offer planned curriculum that is play-based but includes school readiness activities. We participate in the Paths to Quality program. We are a level 3 provider, which tells you that we go well beyond state licensing requirements in providing an educational atmosphere and planned kindergarten readiness curriculum. We are also able to help with school-age homework through age 12.
Filosofía
At Shining Glory Farms Learning Center, we work to offer developmentally appropriate learning experiences for all children. We strive to enhance social, emotional, physical and intellectual growth in young children. Our program encourages curiosity, creativity and self-esteem by valuing children’s abilities and interests. Child-initiated and teacher-supported play is an essential component of our program. Each child learns in different ways, at his or her own pace and individual stage of maturation. Communication and cooperation with families is a priority as we work together with parents to provide consistency and security for all children.
Ubicación
Our family child care home is adjacent to our 36-acre farm property. We have a smaller enclosed play area for safety and we also take frequent field trips to ride on bikes and scooters, play in the larger yard, and visit and feed farm animals at their fences. It’s easy for Battle Ground school buses to pick up and drop off here. We have a long lane and circular drive off of State Road 43 near Battle Ground.

We are a farm setting with plenty of opportunities to get outside and visit animals at their fences. We offer both full time and part time care. We have planned educational activities for school readiness. Se habla espanol.
