Hi! We are Miss Alisha and Miss Laurie. We both love kids so much and have been working with the youth for a combined 40 years: Alisha as a youth camp and after school leader, paraprofessional, and an English Language Arts teacher, and Laurie as a paraprofessional and elementary school secretary. We both have a passion for teaching, and now we get to teach YOUR child! We are so excited!

This is our first year at Launch Into Learning Preschool. After just a few months, I am amazed at all of the things my daughter has learned!! It’s very organized and parents get to know what letters, colors, numbers the students are focusing on each week. The classroom is so cute and clean and has so many fun educational toys! The teachers are both the very best, easy to communicate with, and my daughter loves them both. My daughter loves going and asks if it’s a school day every day. Highly recommend!!

We couldn’t be happier with the experience we’ve had with Alicia and Laurie. They have both made sure to take the time to make our son feel loved, important, and to give him an additional safe place outside of home. He has never liked being left with anybody other than family, and now he looks forward to each morning he gets to go to school. Blackfoot’s Premier Preschool Program for Ages 3-5 (Strictly a Preschool)

So you can rest easy at night, knowing your child will be prepared for kindergarten, make friends, and have fun. We’re so excited for you to join our preschool family!

When you’re here, you’re family! You’ll love our warm, bright in-home preschool, and your child will love our 1-on-1 attention with two teachers and a volunteer in class sizes with less than 20 students.

We use an adapted curriculum from ABC Bootcamp and our own play based lesson plans for fine motor skills at our morning tables, and gross motor skills at recess as well as centers (free choice) to end the class. Art, science, reading, music, and math are all a part of our schedule.

Our preschool is located in the quiet neighborhood of Pheasant Hollow. It is just a short walk from Ridge Crest Elementary School. We have an outdoor area for play on nice days, dry erase tables for fine motor development, a circle time rug for calendar, mindfulness, and story time, and lots of centers for free play.

When you join our preschool, your child gets a free t-shirt that he or she can wear on our family field trips and to school the first day of each month.

We use a curriculum called ABC Bootcamp™ and adapt it to work with our preschool and the needs of our students. It is based on a science of reading-based, rigorous, immersive classroom-proven 26-day (or week in our case) introduction to letters and sounds. We focus on each letter for a few minutes several times throughout the week. Our students learn using fine and gross motor skills throughout each class.

Our preschool family goes on two field trips each year. The first happens in late September to early October and the second happens at the end of April to the beginning of May.

We also have a graduation at the end of the year where families of our preschoolers can get together to celebrate a fantastic year of learning and fun for our preschoolers.
