The Shining Star Academy is such a sweet, caring, nurturing and thoughtful environment, which have allowed our kids to blossom. All of the teachers are wonderful and genuine and they are very loved and appreciated by all kids and parents. We love that our twins are growing and learning so much, from a very diverse curriculum based on arts, music, playing, but also science, maths (counting in 3 languages!), and daily physical activity. We are amazed by how much our kids have learned how to behave in a group, learned how to wait for their turn and be emotional intelligent! So blessed to attend this loving environment! We feel so very fortunate to send our infant son to Shining Stars Academy. I knew from the moment we toured our son would receive the care and love he deserves.

The staff are truly exceptional - they are so attentive and nurturing, and ensure all the children are engaged and learning at their own pace. Their curriculum is fresh and well-thought out, and incudes sensory activities, exercise, music, and crafts. The daily photos and group updates are heartwarming and something I really cherish!

I’m so glad I found this new daycare and preschool for my young son! I was really anxious about sending him to daycare, but I feel confident that he is in kind, loving, and experienced hands.

The children have outdoor time every day, and consistently have activities like music time and art projects. The communication is really great, including updates and photos to parents throughout the day and a report at the end of the day. The physical space is new with lots of cheerful toys.

Filosofía

Though much of a child’s play and learning is self-motivated and self-directed, it is still important for caregivers to offer opportunities for caregiver-initiated activities and learning experiences throughout the day, as well. Children of all ages are given opportunities to learn through experiences with stories, songs/music, art, science, dramatic play, sensory materials, number and letter activities and the outdoors. Even children younger than 2 years, tend to choose to participate in the above activities so our activities are tailored to the interest, abilities, as well as, the ages of the children in my care.
