I have worked with children for more than 25 years and each child is different because of the way they have been raised, but in the environment of this childcare they feel at home playing and learning at the same time.

Calvert’s Childcare Wonderschool is located in a charming, cozy single family home in the Excelsior District neighborhood.

We’ve designed our care environment with play and learning areas that allow children to explore various developmentally-appropriate activities based on their interests. Some of our favorite areas include block area (for gross motor skills and problem solving), reading / cozy area (for literacy, relaxation, and respite), and sensory area (for spatial awareness and learning through the five senses).

Children will have some outdoor time everyday at mix of both my private yard and local parks and playgrounds. Children need space to run, jump, and move!

At Calvert’s Childcare Wonderschool, I want to provide an enriching environment where children feel free to explore and play.
