Hello! My name is Davena and I have been running my own program for over 11 years. I was originally inspired to open my own program when my sons were in elementary school and I realized I wanted to play a more active role in their lives. I changed careers to run my own school. I’ve never looked back!

Hi there! My name is Icee and I have been the Head Teacher at Casey’s Kids for the past three years. I have a background in Early Childhood Education and have completed multiple ECE credits. Working with children is my passion!

“Best daycare ever! My daughter has been going to Casey’s Kidz for 5 years. I never feel worried about taking my child to this inhome daycare. I previously had a bad experience at my daughters PREVIOUS IN-HOME daycare where she was coming home hungry and cranky. At Casey’s Kidz, they have a scheduled breakfast, snack times, and lunch times. “Choosing to put one’s child in daycare is hard enough. Finding the right person you trust with your most prized possession is even harder. Casey’s Kidz has been phenomenal with my children. My son has been there for 3 years. He calls her Auntie. He is kindergarten (probably 1st grade) ready. He can count to 100, knows all of his alphabet and their sounds. He reads up to 4 letter words and he is writing his letters. Her staff is incredibly patient and loving with the children. At Casey’s Kids Childcare/Preschool & Wonderschool, we believe in the power of play and child-directed learning. We provide a STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics)-based curriculum, and experience designed to both prepare children to graduate kindergarten-ready while allowing them to celebrate simply being a kid.

Casey’s Kids Childcare/Preschool is located in a welcoming single family home in the Sundance Lake neighborhood. We love our neighborhood because it is safe and family focused.

For outdoor time, children have the opportunity to spend time in our backyard and at Quail Park. The kids love to go on walks throughout the neighborhood.

Casey’s Kids primary objective is to ensure students leave ready for the transition to kindergarten — but not at the expense of fostering their creativity and exploration. In addition to our STEM-based curriculum, we use arts and crafts and music and dance to develop creative expression and confidence. A balance of structured and unstructured learning enables students to grow and explore in a variety of ways.

We also know the value of health and wellness. Students will spend time outside every day either onsite in the backyard, on a neighborhood walk, or at nearby Quail Park. We also provide healthy meals and snacks, with breakfast and lunch prepared by Director Davena.

If you would like to enroll, please submit an application. Please note that we require tours for all prospective families. Please do not submit an application if you have not visited the program.

4. Enroll

After reviewing your application, we’ll send an enrollment invitation. Upon accepting your invitation you’ll pay your enrollment fee, fill out enrollment documents and review our Parent Handbook.
