Our Teachers at RADKidz - we have the most incredible, qualified, positive, passionate, educated, and eager staff who are excited to help your children thrive!
ABBEY EDWARDS Director & Founder Miss Abbey has been a teacher for over 15 years now! She loves being in the outdoors and exploring the world. She grew up right outside of Yosemite National Park, so she feels her best when close to nature! She is married and a mom to two young boys who she adores. Teaching is her passion because she knows how important it is to connect with students and provide and safe, nurturing space for them. Abbey believes that students learn best by “doing” and “being” their true, authentic selves. Her goal is to help each child find their inner strength and passion, then cultivate that so that they thrive in life!

At RADKIDZ Outdoor Education/Fitness & Enrichment, we believe that children grow, learn, and thrive by feeling safe, loved, and nurtured. It is our goal to provide an environment that helps each child to feel confident and capable. In our program, children will feel supported as they engage with new ideas and learnings.
RADKIDZ-Outdoor Education/Fitness & Microschool is located in a welcoming local community park and outdoor spaces connected to nature.
We’ve designed our care environment with play and learning areas that allow children to explore various developmentally-appropriate activities based on their interests. Some of our favorite areas include nature area (for discovering nature and science concepts), music and movement area (for physical activity and cultural learning), and manipulatives and math area (for fine motor skills and beginning math concepts).
Children will have some outdoor time everyday at a local park or playground. Connecting with nature is vital to a child’s happiness and growth. At RADKIDZ-Outdoor Education/Fitness & Microschool, I want to provide an environment that supports the cognitive, social, and emotional growth of each child.

EPIC 2 hour Outdoor Enrichment/Fitness Class/Drop-Off Program!
Educational Enrichment, Fitness, Adventure Fun, Friends and MORE!
What Will My RADKid Be Doing? Your RADKid will get support in any educational needs, play creative fitness games, participate in art and creative design activities, science/STEM, HIKE, explore, nature/preservation education, run relay races, learn cool experiments, explore the outdoors, play every sport, engage in a little acting, dance, tumble, learn healthy eating habits, and enjoy an emotionally sound social life with their friends and RADKidz Leaders! Your RADKid will build a strong body and mind!
Ages 5-10 years old
(older than 10 years typically becomes our RADLeaders in class!
Please reach out if you have a RAD older kiddo who would make a RADLeader and Mentor to help with the program! TEENS make a great fit for this!)
