Lauren, Director and Head Teacher
Lauren has many years of professional experience working with children. She worked at a school for 15 years, caring for TK through 8th Grade students, and was a nanny for more than 15 years. Through both her school and nanny positions, Lauren developed parts of her child caring mentality and fine-tuned her craft and activity skills to ensure a fun learning environment for each and every child.
Lauren’s love for early care and education goes back to her youth, when she would help around the house with younger siblings and other children her Mother was caring for. She had a wonderful example in her loving mother. She helped out in the nursery at church and landed numerous babysitting jobs as soon as she was old enough.
Lauren has a loving heart and a caring, trusting, fun relationship with every child she meets. She is able to put their needs above her own and do whatever it takes to make sure they are well taken care of in all areas of their development.

Philosophy
We believe it takes a village to raise a child, and here at Village Child Care, we want to be a part of your village! Our onboarding philosophy focuses on helping each child build the skills needed to be successful in whichever stage of life they’re in, encouraging imagination & creativity, and developing age-appropriate behaviors in all areas - physically, emotionally, and mentally. In addition, our philosophy creates a safe, nurturing environment where we utilize the children’s interests to guide activities. Our aim is to assist each child in acquiring the necessary skills for lifelong success while fostering their creativity and imagination, and nurturing age-appropriate behaviors in all aspects of their lives - physically, emotionally, and mentally.
Location
Village Child Care is located right in the middle of North Cucamonga. We are in a quiet, well established neighborhood in between the 10 and 210 freeways, less than a mile away from the Rancho Cucamonga Public Library.
As you walk through our side gate, you will find the check-in/out table, outside play area equipped with water table & accessories, ride-on and push toys. You will be greeted by the beautiful smell and sight of multiple plumerias that grow along the east fence (when in season of course).
Inside, we have the Child Care and Napping Rooms with carpet and a designed wall that separates the two with a dutch door leading from the Child Care Room into the Napping Room. There are cubbies for the children’s belongings and a rotation of age-appropriate toys.
In the Child Care Room, there are centers for the children to play, learn, and explore using their imagination and creativity throughout the day. We offer books, coloring books, building blocks, manipulatives, and sensory activities.
In the Napping Room, we have a crib for each child. We have a TV for security surveillance, where we can watch the perimeter of the house to ensure only approved pick up persons are invited in. The TV may also be used for educational and physical activities from time to time.
Our cozy indoor space and fun outdoor space are perfect for your little one(s) to grow and learn.
