I Maggie Garcia am a professional childcare provider, who has been licensed since the year of 2000. I also have numerous educational qualifications such as my AS Degree in Child Development,Child Development Certificate, Assistant Teacher Permit, Associate Teacher Permit, and currently hold my Master Teacher Permit through the Ventura County Office of Education. I have also received a 4 star rating through Ventura County Quality Counts. I am certified in CPR / First Aide for Infants, Children, and Adults.I am also contracted with Child Development Resources. I am currently a member of Ventura County Childcare Association. Also a member of UDW AFSCME Local 3930 childcare Union. This has been a long journey finally accomplishing my goals it’s time for me to do what I do best is educate the children in a loving environment.
Filosofía
In my program it is my wish to provide your child/ children a warm and loving environment that will strengthen their self- concept, foster creativity and develop their relationship with other children and people around them. This preschool philosophy, also known as “developmental” is most common in the United States. Play-based schools believe that children learn best through play. This builds confidence, friendship, creativity and a love for school while kids learn in a age-appropriate way. Most of all they will be exploring their own interest.

In my childcare , I teach free play based learning with education, early literacy, guided play, and preschool. I use the interests and ideas of the children in my child care. The materials are age appropriate and encouraging for the children. Children have their own ideas and possibilities for discovery. We also celebrate important holidays and events.
