Adriena Mostafa, Director of Love Centered Daycare started her career in early childhood education after becoming a mother of two small children. Adriena fosters a love for all youth as she believes they are the center of our growing world. Adriena obtained her bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Cal State University East Bay and has over 20 years of experience working in the educational field. Adriena is passionate about social emotional learning, teaching kindness, and pouring love into all children. Some of Adriena’s favorite slogans for her program are “Love is at the center of everything we do” also “your child’s home away from home” Adriena is easy to get along with, loves meeting new people, and treats every child in her home like family. Most importantly, Adriena takes pride in providing quality childcare for all children enrolled in her program.

Ms. Chanay is our lead Play Partner. She is a mother of three children and fills the program with so much fun! She is currently obtaining her bachelor’s degree in early childhood education and does an excellent job multitasking all ages in our program. Ms. Chanay takes pride in ensuring all children and their families feel valued and seen.

Ms. Angel is our creative Play Partner. Ms. Angel brings the most engaging activity ideas for all of our children, even the infants. Ms. Angel makes it her priority to create quality lesson plans and outdoor activities that promote disguised learning opportunities. Ms. Angel is soft spoken, patient and kind with all children and their families.

Mr. Alex is the program Uncle and Husband of Adriena. Mr. Alex holds a bachelor’s degree from Sacramento state in Communication Studies. Mr. Alex is a father of two, a former kindergarten teacher and high school campus security guard. He loves teaching the children the fundamentals of early learning, doodling and daily movement. Mr. Alex makes it his duty to teach the children how to walk, talk and play fairly.

In our childcare program, we believe in teaching love and kindness through play and social interaction. We follow a play-based approach where children learn to navigate their physical and social environment, while also imagining and constructing new realities. Through play, they practice problem-solving skills, explore concepts of love, wisdom, and safety.

Love Centered Daycare is located in Oakland between the Durant Manor area and San Leandros Broadmoor district. Love Centered Daycare is held on the first floor in a spacious single-family home that is sanitized daily and professionally cleaned bi-weekly.
