Hello! I am Tiffaney, the founder of Thomas Family Child Care. I was inspired to start my own program because I have always enjoyed working with children and dreamed of opening my own child care. I believe that children need care and attention, and can learn anything when it’s presented to them in an age appropriate way, and through playful experiences. I have over 14 years of experience working with young children, and over 50 ECE units.

At Thomas Family Child Care, we believe that children grow, learn, and thrive by following their own unique style of discovery. It is our goal to provide an environment that engages children with developmentally-appropriate activities and materials. In our program, children will feel empowered to follow their own interests in a safe space, while learning and implementing Christian values.

Thomas Family Child Care is located in a welcoming, cozy single family home, in a quiet Moreno Valley neighborhood.

We’ve designed our care environment with play and learning areas that allow children to explore various developmentally-appropriate activities based on their interests. Some of our favorite areas include dramatic play area (for self-expression and empathy), Art area (for developing creativity and fine motor skills), and Blocks and Manipulatives area (To develop spatial awareness, motor skills, and explore mathematics and physics concepts ).

Children will spend about 2 hours every day outdoors in our private back yard. Connecting with nature lets children gain deeper knowledge of themselves and the world.

At Thomas Family Child Care, I want to provide an environment that supports the cognitive, social, and emotional growth of each child.

at Thomas Family Child Care we follow a Play Based Christian Philosophy. We believe that children learn best through immersing themselves in activities and play invitations, exploring the world around them with all their senses, and infusing academic content into their daily flow through playful exploration. We also follow a Christian based Curriculum. We believe that exposing children to Christian Values and modeling them in their day to day lives, will help them grow up to be contributive members of society.

3. Submit an Enrollment Application

If you would like to enroll, please submit an application at www.wonderschool.com/test-s-wonderschool-4301/apply – Please note that we require tours for all prospective families. Please do not submit an application if you have not visited the program.

4. Enroll

After reviewing your application, we’ll send an enrollment invitation. Upon accepting your invitation you’ll pay your enrollment fee, fill out enrollment documents and review our Parent Handbook.
