Hello! I am Elizabeth Nevarez, the founder of Nevarez Family Child Care Wonderschool. I was inspired to start my own program because as a mom of three kids, I saw a need for high-quality care in my community. I have 12 years of experience working with young children.

Before opening my program, I was an aquatic director for YMCA for several years. I also previously worked at a therapy center. I truly love what I do and take my job very seriously because I want children to feel prepared for school and to have bright futures ahead.

Nevarez Family Child Care offers a safe and appropriate environment for children from 0 months to 11 years of age. Our goal is to provide a stimulating educational experience that allows each child to grow socially, emotionally, physically and cognitively. Our goal is to support children’s independence and self-esteem by individualizing the needs of each child.

Nevarez guarderia ofrece un ambiente seguro y apropiado para el desarrollo de los niños de 0 meses a 11 años de edad. Nuestro objetivo es propocionar una atencion temprana y estimulante experiencia educativa que promueva cada niño el desarrollo socia / emocional, fisico y cognitivo. Nuestro objetivo es apoyar la independencia de los niños y las autoestima. Al individualizar las necesidades de cada niño.

Ubicación

Nevarez Family Child Care Wonderschool is located in an inviting, beautiful single family home in the East LA neighborhood.

We’ve designed our care environment with play and learning areas that allow children to explore various developmentally-appropriate activities based on their interests. Some of our favorite areas include a dramatic play area (for self-expression and empathy), block area (for gross motor skills and problem solving), and manipulatives and math area (for fine motor skills and beginning math concepts).

Children will have plenty of time outside every day in spacious outdoor classroom. Children need space to run, jump, and move!

3. Submit an Enrollment Application

If you would like to enroll, please submit an application at www.wonderschool.com/nevarez-family-child-care-wonderschool-5278/apply – Please note that we require tours for all prospective families. Please do not submit an application if you have not visited the program.

4. Enroll

After reviewing your application, we’ll send an enrollment invitation. Upon accepting your invitation you’ll pay your enrollment fee, fill out enrollment documents and review our Parent Handbook.
