Director

Hello! I am Stacey Davis-Henderson, the founder of Busy Bee Haven. I was inspired to start my own program 26 years ago to allow me to stay home with my own children. Over the years I have added curriculum, creative exploration, and lots of laughter to my program. I have created an environment allowing young children to thrive and grow. Developing strong relationships with each family to provide the best care possible.

My name is Sophie and I have a huge passion for children!! I have been caring for children for 8 years in all different kinds of facilities. I’m currently enrolled in classes to get my childhood development certification, and have always known that being a strong and nurturing leader for children has always been my calling.

My name is Lauren and I’m a mother of two amazing kids. I have lived in southern Orange County my whole life and love this beautiful area of Laguna Niguel. I have grown up being a babysitter and a nanny for several years until I became a stay at home mom for the past 10 years. I love children and have a passion to be a positive role model for any child that comes into my life.

At Busy Bee Haven Wonderschool, we believe that children grow, learn, and thrive by feeling safe, loved, and nurtured. It is our goal to provide an environment that makes children feel welcomed and at home. In our program, children will feel genuinely cared for and cherished.

Each day we will keep the children engaged in a variety of hands on interactive activities, gross/fine motor activities and games, music & movement, art projects to stimulate creativity, and alphabet & language activities which allows the children to experiment, explore and use their imagination. We will provide sensory and social- emotional experiences as well. We do this in both small (2-4) and large (6-8) groups. They will also have free time to play and interact with their peers, with supervision.

Busy Bee Haven Wonderschool is located in a bright, beautiful single family home in the Laguna Niguel neighborhood.

We’ve designed our care environment with play and learning areas that allow children to explore various developmentally-appropriate activities based on their interests. Some of our favorite areas include block area (for gross motor skills and problem solving), dramatic play area (for self-expression and empathy), and manipulatives and math area (for fine motor skills and beginning math concepts).

Children will have some outdoor time everyday in my private yard or outdoor space. Children need space to run, jump, and move!

If you would like to enroll, please submit an application. Please note that we require tours for all prospective families. Please do not submit an application if you have not visited the program.

4. Enroll

After reviewing your application, we’ll send an enrollment invitation. Upon accepting your invitation you’ll pay your enrollment fee, fill out enrollment documents and review our Parent Handbook.
