Hello! I am Kamilah Dejan, the founder of Future Stars Wonderschool. I was inspired to start my own program because I saw a need for high-quality care in my community. I have 6 years of experience working with young children.

I believe that working with children was my calling. While I used to work at an airport, I have always loved working with kids and had the goal of running my own in-home child care program. I am proud to provide a strong foundation in early childhood education for our future stars.

Filosofía

At Kamilah’s Wonderschool, we believe that children grow, learn, and thrive by feeling safe, loved, and nurtured. It is our goal to provide an environment that helps each child to feel confident and capable. In our program, children will feel genuinely cared for and cherished.

I offer nutritious meals, transportation from school, field trips, and a clean and open facility. I try to accommodate parents’ schedules by also providing after-hours and weekend care as needed. I believe in working closely with parents to help ensure the growth and success of each child.

Future Stars Wonderschool is located in a warm, welcoming single family home in the Inglewood neighborhood.

We’ve designed our care environment with play and learning areas that allow children to explore various developmentally-appropriate activities based on their interests. Some of our favorite areas include a dramatic play area (for self-expression and empathy), art area (for expressing emotions and ideas), and reading / cozy area (for literacy, relaxation, and respite).

Children will have some outdoor time every day in my private yard or outdoor space. Children need space to run, jump, and move!

3. Submit an Enrollment Application

If you would like to enroll, please submit an application. Please note that we require tours for all prospective families. Please do not submit an application if you have not visited the program.

4. Enroll

After reviewing your application, we’ll send an enrollment invitation. Upon accepting your invitation you’ll pay your enrollment fee, fill out enrollment documents and review our Parent Handbook.
