I started off as a Montessori school teacher and then opened my own daycare 35 years ago. Brooke my daughter has been doing daycare with me for 24 years, and Karen has been an added helper and has been with us for the last 4 years.

Our Philosophy

At Let’s Discover Daycare, we believe every child deserves a safe, loving, and nurturing environment where they are encouraged to learn, explore, and grow with confidence. Our goal is to provide a strong educational foundation while fostering creativity, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.

We are committed to preparing children for a successful transition into kindergarten by teaching the essential academic, social, and life skills they need to thrive. Through age-appropriate lessons and hands-on learning experiences, children develop early literacy, math, language, problem-solving, and social skills while building confidence in themselves.

Our program also focuses on important developmental milestones, including potty training, learning how to safely use scissors, arts and crafts, fine motor development, following directions, and practicing independence through daily routines. We believe children learn best through play, exploration, and meaningful experiences that encourage curiosity and creativity.

For our school-age children, we provide a supportive after-school homework program where they receive guidance with assignments, develop strong study habits, and build responsibility in a positive and encouraging environment.

At Let’s Discover Daycare, we partner with families to create a caring community where every child feels valued, respected, and inspired to reach their full potential. We are dedicated to helping children discover their abilities, build lasting friendships, and develop the confidence they need for success in school and in life.

We are located on a quiet court close to Oakbrook Academy of the Arts, Green Valley Middle, and Cordelia Hills Elementary and provide to and from rides to school.
