Filosofía
Nurture and Nature Playcare is a child-directed environment rich in play and exploration of nature. We allow the children the space to follow their interests in order to support a deeper understanding of the beautiful world around them.
Our approach is a play based, with a dash of elements from Waldorf, Montessori and Reggio Emilia philosophies. We blend all of these philosophies together with loose parts to create a dynamic program in a peaceful outdoor setting.
We know from research that children who play outdoors are happier and feel less anxious. They also develop connections with others and nature while developing a sense of curiosity about the world around them. We provide a natural environment with open ended objects for children to practice their creativity and imagination.
Ubicación
Nurture and Nature Playcare is located in a single family home on a quiet cul-de-sac steps away from Phoenix Park and the walking trails to the American River. We often have wild animals right in our front yard! We have a large indoor playroom that offers bright natural light for exploration.
We love fresh air and playing outside, rain or shine. In addition to our yard space, we are located next door to a beautiful park where we walk, play and explore daily. Organic food and healthy living is important to everyone at Nurture and Nature Playcare.
