Our Teachers

My name is Cynthia, and I am the proud owner of Cherry Blossom Family Daycare. I hold a degree in Early Childhood Education and bring over 10 years of experience working with infants, toddlers, and elementary school-aged children. My professional experience includes working with families and children in the West Contra Costa Unified School District and Orinda Union School District. Before pursuing my career in early childhood education, I also built a background in finance, where I developed strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills that continue to benefit me as a childcare provider and business owner.

I am also the proud mother of two beautiful daughters, ages 15 and 12, who have been my greatest inspiration. My passion for working with children began when I started volunteering at my youngest daughter’s elementary school. Watching children learn, grow, and gain confidence each day inspired me to dedicate my career to early childhood education. That experience led me to earn my degree and pursue hands-on opportunities working with children of all ages.

At Cherry Blossom Family Daycare, I provide a warm, loving, and safe play-based learning environment where children are encouraged to explore, discover, and develop through meaningful experiences. I believe every child learns differently and deserves individualized care, patience, and encouragement. My experience with infants, toddlers, and elementary-aged children allows me to support each child’s unique developmental journey while fostering independence, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.

As a bilingual daycare, children are naturally introduced to both Spanish and English through daily conversations, songs, books, routines, and activities. I believe early exposure to two languages helps children strengthen their communication skills while embracing cultural diversity. I also incorporate art, music, sensory play, outdoor exploration, and regular visits to our local library, where children enjoy stories, community experiences, and develop a love for reading.

My mission is to provide a nurturing environment where children feel safe, loved, respected, and inspired to learn every day. I believe that strong partnerships with families are the foundation of a child’s success, and I am committed to creating a welcoming space where children can thrive socially, emotionally, physically, and academically.

6/3/26 If you are looking for a daycare for your children, Cynthia is definitely the one to go too! I’ve know Cynthia for a couple of years now and she is truly amazing person and a mom to 2 wonderful girls. My kids absolutely love her, the patience she has for children is truly incredible and the love she has for the them as well, she is such a loving person. You won’t regret putting your child/children in this daycare, Your kids will love being around Cynthia! Oh and let’s not forget this is a bilingual daycare so that is always a big plus.

6/3/26 I worked with Cynthia, the owner, the past 2 years in an elementary school in the front office. When she told me she was opening a daycare I was sad because she would no longer be in the office helping me. However she then said she is opening a daycare. I know any child in her care will be in good hands. Cynthia is kind, empathetic, understanding, honest, trustworthy and very patient. She works well with kids of all ages. She also spent several years studying early childhood education. My kids are already grown, but if i were looking for a daycare, I would definitely send my kids to her and I recommend her to everyone. It’s like the Allstate Insurance slogan - “You’re in good hands” with Cherry Blossom Family Daycare.

Our enrollment process begins with a family tour, where parents can learn more about our programs, daily routines, policies, and learning environment. During the visit, we welcome the opportunity to get to know your family and discuss your child’s individual needs.

To complete enrollment, families will be required to complete all necessary enrollment forms and provide any required health and emergency information before the child’s first day.
