Hello! I am Darnetta Frederick, the founder of Peek A Boo Daycare Wonderschool. I was inspired to start my own program because it has always been my dream to design my own space where children can blossom and grow. I have 11 years of experience working with young children.

I have three daughters and two grandchildren. I have also been a foster parent for over nine years.

Welcome to Peek A Boo Daycare Wonderschool! We will provide a safe, caring, home-like atmosphere for your child while also providing for their physical, intellectual, emotional, and social development.

Peek A Book Daycare Wonderschool helps children grow physically, emotionally, and socially at their own pace. We believe that the first years of a child’s life are by far the most important, laying the foundation for all intellectual and emotional development through active interaction with their environment and educational experiences. Some of the activities your child will experience are large motor skills, fine motor skills, language, math, art, computer activities, and social interactions. Children will be taught to respect each other, adults, and property. Development of children’s confidence and self-esteem is a goal of our program.

Peek A Boo Daycare Wonderschool is located in a bright, welcoming single family home in the Carson neighborhood.

We’ve designed our care environment with play and learning areas that allow children to explore various developmentally-appropriate activities based on their interests. Our program’s space is colorful, vibrant, clean and organized. Some of our favorite areas include manipulatives and math area (for fine motor skills and beginning math concepts), reading / cozy area (for literacy, relaxation, and respite), and music and movement area (for physical activity and cultural learning).

Children will have some outdoor time everyday in my private yard or outdoor space. Children need space to run, jump, and move! Some days, we go to nearby Anderson Park.

At Peek A Boo Daycare Wonderschool, I want to provide an environment that supports the cognitive, social, and emotional growth of each child.

3. Submit an Enrollment Application

If you would like to enroll, please submit an application. Please note that we require tours for all prospective families. Please do not submit an application if you have not visited the program.

4. Enroll

After reviewing your application, we’ll send an enrollment invitation. Upon accepting your invitation you’ll pay your enrollment fee, fill out enrollment documents and review our Parent Handbook. All completed forms, deposit, and tuition are required before your child can start daycare.
