Our Teachers
Ingrid has worked with children since 2012, caring for infants through preschool-aged children. As a mother of three, she understands the importance of creating a loving, dependable environment where children feel secure and families feel at ease. With a background in psychology and child development coursework, Ingrid brings both knowledge and heart into her work. She is bilingual in English and Spanish and is passionate about creating a warm, play-based childcare experience within her home.
Her goal is to create a space where children feel comfortable, confident, and excited to learn each day.
Philosophy
Our philosophy centers on Spanish immersion and play-based learning. We believe children learn best through hands-on experiences, connection, and the freedom to explore their environment.
In our home, learning happens naturally—through play, conversation, music, and everyday routines in both Spanish and English.
We create an environment where children can:
- Play and explore freely
- Build friendships and social skills
- Develop independence and confidence
- Feel safe, seen, and supported
- Grow academically and emotionally
We believe childhood should feel joyful, nurturing, and full of discovery.
About our program
Ingrid’s Family Child Care is a Spanish immersion home preschool and daycare offering a warm, nurturing, home-away-from-home where children learn through play, exploration, and meaningful relationships.
