Rise and Shine Academy and Child Care is a family run organization. The Director, Mrs. L. has been working with children for over 20 years in a variety of capacities including running a large child care center, organizing recreational programs for school-agers, teaching in preschool and infant/toddler centers and volunteering with middle and high school age groups.
Her educational background is centered around child development and administration. She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Liberal Studies with a Child Development option from Cal State East Bay and has participated in and led a variety of trainings over the past 20 years. She holds a Program Director permit from The California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
