Lan, Director
Lan has 15 years of experience in infant care and is especially passionate about supporting single moms. Lan earned a Master’s degree in Psychology as a new, single mother herself. She then pursued a career in Child Development to provide the best care for her son while also getting to spend time with him.
She loves children and has decided to dedicate her life to helping new families. To Lan, teaching students about what love is, how to resolve conflict, and how to be successful is about the individual and allowing them to understand and grow despite the circumstances around them.
Lucy, Head Teacher
Lucy has been Lan’s partner for 10 years and was the first assistant teacher at Tanghulu, helping to set up the learning environment from the very beginning. Lucy’s strengths are her patience and knowledge about infant growth and development. Lucy loves children because of their playful nature; she loves to see them smile and is excited to help make a difference in their lives.

Triết lý
Tanghulu is a warm, spacious, brightly lit home with an outdoor space where the children play every day. Director Lan wants to create a second home for your child. Director Lan and her long-time assistant, Lucy, team up to give children at a range of ages the attention they need to thrive. With over 15 years of child care experience, they intentionally teach older children leadership skills and know how to make infants’ transition into care as smooth and comfortable as possible for the child (and the parents!). With activities, language learning, and ample outdoor time, Tanghulu nurtures your child’s whole body and mind.

Về chương trình của chúng tôi
We are a Mandarin immersion program and take an active role in developing your child’s ability to speak English and Chinese. In addition to learning a second language, this helps your child develop communication skills and fosters brain development. And imagine: you and your child can practice Mandarin words at home!
We pride ourselves on our low student-to-teacher ratio –your child will have the attention they deserve to develop into wonderful school-age students.
