An open, outdoor space for exploration, growth, and learning.
“All students can learn and succeed, but not on the same day and not in the same way.” - William G. Spady. My teaching philosophy is centered around this idea. It is my job to assess students individually and meet them at their cognitive and emotional level. I believe in building an individualized curriculum that will cater to each child’s needs and interests. Talking with and observing each child will help with that development.

The main meeting place for Santa Monica Forest Wonderschool is at Crescent Bay Park, located at 2000 Ocean Avenue, Santa Monica, CA 90405. It is a tranquil park featuring over two acres of grassy areas and a view of the ocean. Since it is located so close to the Santa Monica Beach, we will be utilizing that area for learning and play as well.
Santa Monica Forest Wonderschool provides unique, hands-on learning experiences for your child. Children have the opportunity to learn outdoors, explore the world around them, and utilize nature to help them grow cognitively, socially, and emotionally. Each day is filled with songs, stories, supervised exploration, yoga, and much more!
Outdoor education is the main component of our philosophy at Santa Monica Forest Wonderschool. We will be outside daily, weather permitting. We will be exploring various parks, different parts of the beach, and neighborhood gardens.
