Keterrious Harris was born in Cleveland, Mississippi, however reared in Jackson. He obtained a degree in Psychology and Minor in Art from Jackson State University. He stated that his mother’s inspiration and instillment to always show love and help others really motivated him to do just that. Caiden’s Christian Academy will help aid hardworking parents gain a quality education through not only academics, but also with a Christian atmosphere. We dedicate ourselves into upholding the promises of God.
Kenecia C.M Harris was born and raised in Jackson Mississippi. She attended Genesis One Christian School in Mendenhall, Mississippi for a number of years. She later attended Jackson Public Schools. During her elementary, middle, and high school years, Kenecia became an avid singer, musician, and artist. She specialized in drawing her favorite characters from anime shows such as: Dragonball Z and Naruto. She attended Jackson State University, where she marched (Baritone) in the band with THEE Famous Sonic Boom of the South. She played Clarinet with the Symphonic and Woodwind Ensemble. She is a member of the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc and a member of Tau Beta Sigma National Honorary Band Sorority, Inc. She was a member of the University Choir and JSU Chorale and is also a 1st Degree Black Belt with Twin Dragon Taekwondo and Self Defense. Kenecia graduated with her Bachelor’s in Studio Art and is currently pursuing her Master’s in art from Mississippi College. Kenecia has an adorable 8 year old son, Caiden for whom the daycare is named after.
Diamond Harris was born in Cleveland, Mississippi, however raised in Jackson. She is a 2018 graduate of Jackson State University with a degree in Speech Communications and Dramatic Arts. While attending Jackson State, Diamond was a member of the infamous Jsettes and MADDRAMA Dance Troupe. Diamond has a desire to teach young, school-aged children that are eager to learn. She has several years of experience working with infants and toddlers. Diamond has two beautiful children, Amari & Rhemalyn. Her goal and aspiration is to become a Speech Pathologist, however teaching children is her number one priority.
Philosophy
Our educational ministry is centered on teaching our students to embody the mind and character of Jesus Christ, guiding them to have a deep understanding of God’s plan of salvation and welcoming Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. Through nurturing Christian commitment, we aim for each child to flourish as a dedicated servant of the Lord. Our curriculum, which aligns with the Mississippi Department of Education Common Core Guidelines and Standards, incorporates the A Beka curriculum focusing on essential areas such as Biblical Knowledge, Phonemic Awareness, Reading Fundamentals, Language, and Math from a Christian perspective. This comprehensive approach empowers children to excel academically while developing their character in alignment with Christian values, ensuring they meet key developmental milestones across various domains, including social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
Location
We are located off N State St that is easily accessible to all families. Surrounded by lots of single family homes we have a safe environment for children. We have plenty of parking space that make for a safe and easy drop off and pick up.
About our program
Caiden’s Christian Ministries is purposed to demonstrate the love of Christ to all who are willing to receive. We are striving to fulfill this purpose by addressing spiritual, social, emotional, economical and physical needs while prayerfully facilitating the reconciliation in the body of Christ. Caiden’s Christian Academy is under the umbrella of Caiden’s Christian Ministries which is designed to teach, hold biblical principles according to John 3:16-17. At Caiden’s Christian Academy children are compassionately encouraged to discover their own strengths, gifts and talents. We believe that each child possess a tremendous capacity to learn. Learning is best accomplished in a place that is spiritual in nature, emotionally secure, physically safe, loving/caring and fun!
