Hi, my name is Amanda Wood. I have been a licensed preschool teacher for over 26 years. I have a CDA credential that plays a crucial role in the early childhood education of young children. I am a mom to three adult girls who are all so unique in their own way. I have been married for over 27 years to my husband, Luke. I have lived in Nixa for 12 years.
Philosophy
Our onboarding philosophy encompasses a meticulously planned daily schedule that provides various learning opportunities, incorporating engaging activities like storytime sessions, creative arts, and STEAM stations. We structure our curriculum around thematic units, offering focused instruction supported by age-appropriate resources. In addition, our main focus is to establish a secure and nurturing environment that promotes interactive, hands-on learning experiences, preparing children holistically for Kindergarten. We prioritize the learning journey over results and aim to foster social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth in each child, supporting their overall progress.
