That each child is a unique individual and should be viewed, respected and treated as such. We value early childhood education as the foundation for lifelong learning. Over the Rainbow recognizes the importance of play in the learning process for young children. Play is the basis for learning in our program. We believe that children are confident, competent and resourceful learners who are capable of constructing their own knowledge of the world around them. We aim to build relationships that empower children, promote individuality, and develop strong partnerships with families while creating an environment that helps young children attain physical, cognitive, social and emotional achievements preparing them for the next step in life. Children are little language sponges and can absorb a foreign language that will benefit them in the future therefore Over the Rainbow offers partial Spanish immersion. What that means is 50% of the day/curriculum is taught in Spanish, the program is considered two-way language learning and provides fluency in both Spanish and English. We welcome those of diverse faiths, ethnic origins, and race.
Our mission is to ensure that every child has access to a home away from home that helps them realize their full potential. We work with experienced educators and childcare providers to help them start their own childcares or preschools out of their homes, whether they live in apartments, condos, or homes that they rent or own.We provide assistance with licensing, program setup, marketing and everything in between. Our software platform allows teachers to manage their students, parents, and their program from one dashboard. Along with this, we have built a marketplace for parents to search Wonderschool programs, schedule visits, enroll their children, and make payments.
Above and beyond safety: Wonderschool partners follow safety and quality guidelines above and beyond what is required for licensure.
Handpicked program Directors: We interview and carefully vet each of our partners before we accept them into our network.
Community-grown: When your child attends a Wonderschool program, you are supporting quality, affordable childcare and early childhood education provided by neighbors in your community.

Our mission is to provide a place where kids love to spend time learning, growing, and exploring. A place where parents feel great about leaving their child while they are away from them.
I am dedicated to creating a warm and nurturing atmosphere that allows children to develop at their own unique rate. Children need to feel safe and confident in order to learn and grow. At Over the Rainbow I work towards cultivating a positive, fun environment by treating each child with respect and providing lots of loving individual attention.

Scarlett was born in Nicaragua, Managua at an early age she migrated to the United States to be reunited with her mother. Her mother owned a child care facility that was located in their home. Scarlett was young and grew up in the program. She was always surrounded by children and loved to help her mother during the summer and winter breaks. After twenty three years of working in the community Scarlett’s mother decided to retire and passed on her knowledge to Scarlett.
Scarlett is a mother to a 15-year old and a 10-year old, Lydia and Henessy, who has been the inspiration to continue assisting her community just like her mother did. Due to her growing up and also working with children she enjoys supporting and observing children through the developmental learning process. Her previous experience from working with children also come from working at a pediatric clinic as a medical assistant and as well working for Family Children Services.
