Triết lý

FCVCCC is a state licensed, faith-based childcare center. It was founded in 1992 to care for the teaching staff of French Creek Valley Christian School. It has expanded into a highly valued service that benefits the whole community. Currently, our center provides care for over 130 full and part-time students year-round.

We participate in Keystone STARS, a state-wide program that has helped us to develop a quality early learning program for the children we serve. We use a variety of age-appropriate experiences, materials, and activities to encourage exploration and learning in the classroom. Our teaching staff participates in continuous quality improvement with ongoing educational goals and training.
Our philosophy integrates biblical values, developmentally age-appropriate learning, and positive relationships with the children and their families.

• We believe that faith-based values are an integral part of our curriculum. • We believe in meeting the spiritual needs of the children with respect, warmth, and love. • We are a non-denominational center and are not supported by any one church affiliation. • We welcome children of all faiths to participate in our program. • We believe that most of life’s foundational learning happens in the first 7 years of life. • We believe that each child learns at their own pace, and we look for opportunities to determine their individual needs. • We believe in playing as learning and encourage all children to participate. • We believe care givers should be supportive, responsive, and accepting of each individual child and their families. • We promote active communication between the teaching staff and families. • We believe that family support is the foundation of a healthy community.

Địa điểm

We are located at 420 North St. Saegertown PA 16433. We have an entirely fenced in play space for all age groups. Jordan Park and the Saegertown library are both within walking distance for our old children to walk to during the summer months. We do not provide any transportation for any of our enrolled children however, we do provide morning, afternoon and all day care during the school year for school aged children who attend Saegertown Elementary school. The bus stops at our school each morning and afternoon for transportation from the Elementary school to our facility for care.
