Jessica Courtney-Rivera

Mrs. Jessica began her career as an Early Childhood Educator working with toddler  and preschool age children in a private childcare setting. Upon obtaining her B.S. in Early Childhood Education, she became a Head Start educator for the Philadelphia School District. With over 10 years of early childhood classroom experience, Mrs. Jessica has come to realize the importance of family partnerships in education. Mrs. Jessica built the Lotus Family Education Center program on positive & authentic relationships with both children and families. She believes that love and family support are the cornerstones to not only education but a healthy society.

All of my children attend Lotus Family Education Center and I feel confident in my decision to enroll them. I know they receive quality meals and are fully engaged with the overall learning services. Lotus Family Education Center is so great to my 2-year old daughter. She has been apart of the Lotus Family since an infant. Jessica (the owner), is very caring and welcoming. She works great with the parents and ensures that we are involved with everything. Jessica always engages with the kids and work with them individually. I absolutely love the home setting. My daughter receives quality home cooked meals and a clean, peaceful environment to learn in. I can see growth in her every day. All the children seem very happy and love their teacher! I couldn’t be happier with my choice of daycare.
