Hello! I am Altagracia. I was inspired to start my program because I loved working with young children and I saw a need in my community. I am originally from the Dominican Republic and I have been running my own childcare for 6+ years now. I am a mother myself and have raised 4 children. Prior to starting my own program, I worked with with kids for many years both in the US and in the Dominican Republic.

Filosofía

At Little Smile Wonderschool, we seek to provide a loving environment where kids can learn, have fun and be themselves! It is our goal to help children in all aspects of their development, we want to empower children to feel confident and capable everyday. We nurture development by exploring the city, singing and dancing, and learning the best ways to share and play in a way which is inclusive of everyone.

Kids come first. In my child-centered program, every decision I make is focused on how to create a space for development. I treat children knowing that they all come from different places and backgrounds– but that they all need the best possible care. I am passionate about who your child can be while they’re here, and will ensure that they’re cared for and loved every minute of their time here.

Ubicación

Little Smile Wonderschool is located in a charming townhouse in the Bushwick neighborhood. We are very centrally located with easy access to the subway. Also, we are just blocks away from numerous parks and playgrounds which we visit all the time, allowing the the kids to run, jump and play!

2. Tour our program

Come see what makes Little Smile Wonderschool unique. Please schedule a tour or attend an Open House event.

3. Submit an Enrollment Application

If you would like to enroll, please submit an application. Please note that we require tours for all prospective families. Please do not submit an application if you have not visited the program.

4. Enroll

After reviewing your application, we’ll send an enrollment invitation. Upon accepting your invitation you’ll pay your enrollment fee, fill out enrollment documents and review our Parent Handbook.
