We are Heily and Wendolie, and together we founded Dolphin Daycare Wonderschool! We were inspired to start our own program because we have loved working with children since we were young. We have 11 years of experience working with young children and love what we do every day for our families and our community.

Welcome to Dolphin Daycare! We are a family-run daycare program that believes in supporting children’s growth and learning from the very beginning. At Dolphin Daycare Wonderschool, we know that when children feel safe, loved, and nurtured, they can learn and accomplish anything. It is our goal to provide an environment that engages children with developmentally-appropriate activities and materials. In our program, our children will always feel empowered to follow their own interests in a safe and caring space.

Dolphin Daycare Wonderschool is located in a welcoming, bright apartment in the Bushwick neighborhood.
We’ve designed our care environment with play and learning areas that allow children to explore various developmentally-appropriate activities based on their interests. Some of our favorite areas include dramatic play area (for self-expression and empathy), block area (for gross motor skills and problem solving), and reading / cozy area (for literacy, relaxation, and respite).
Children will have some outdoor time everyday at mix of both my private yard and local parks and playgrounds. Connecting with nature lets children gain deeper knowledge of themselves and the world.
At Dolphin Daycare Wonderschool, I want to provide an environment that supports the cognitive, social, and emotional growth of each child.

3. Submit an Enrollment Application
If you would like to enroll, please submit an application. Please note that we require tours for all prospective families. Please do not submit an application if you have not visited the program.
4. Enroll
After reviewing your application, we’ll send an enrollment invitation. Upon accepting your invitation you’ll pay your enrollment fee, fill out enrollment documents and review our Parent Handbook.
