My name is Gisselle Asencio and I am the founding director of A and K Group Family Day Care Corp & Wonderschool. I have my A.A., B.A. and M.B.A. all in business administration as well as a CDA, CPR/FIRST AID and medication administration trained, from New York City for teaching children. also NAFCC trained. As a mother, I realized just how important it is to give children the space to have a bright future; raising my children helped me understand what I could do to support others!

At A and K Group Family Daycare Corp. & Wonderschool we believe that play-based learning occurs when children have the opportunity to be both entertained and interested. We give kids the opportunity to be creative and develop their imagination by fostering an environment that is secure and lets them feel capable of growing.
Ubicación
Our program is located in a safe and secure apartment building in the Concourse Village area of the Bronx. We are conveniently located near the 161st St station on the B and D trains and the park nearby is great for outdoor play.
Acerca de nuestro programa
Our curriculum and plans are created monthly. We like to organize time for kids based on what’s happening in the world - whether it’s a holiday or time of the year, we have lesson plans that keep us organized.
We believe in letting children feel powerful, unique, and creative. This comes from helping them to be independent and confident.
The physical space is set up to meet children’s ages. We have an infant/toddler room as well as pre-k room with materials that are developmentally appropriate and engaging.

3. Submit an Enrollment Application
If you would like to enroll, please submit an application! Please note that we require tours for all prospective families. Please do not submit an application if you have not visited the program.
4. Enroll
After reviewing your application, we’ll send an enrollment invitation. Upon accepting your invitation you’ll pay your enrollment fee, fill out enrollment documents and review our Parent Handbook.
