I’ve been in the childcare field for 6 years and I’m currently continuing my education in early childhood education. One of my main reasons to serve in this field is to support young minds in a safe, healthy, supportive, and free spirited environment.

Smiling Hearts Preschool believes in play-based learning along with short group activities, “learning by doing”, to help enhance vocabulary and academic studies. Play-based learning helps children imagine, create, and build confidence. In addition, the child will learn to work with classmates, see different ideas, and learn from friends. Teachers will walk around the classroom and interact with the children. They will not tell the children what to play, instead, they will participate just like any other child. We believe positive modeled behavior can guide children in becoming team players. Short group activities provide a sense of instruction, discipline, focus, authority, and responsibility. During these activities, children will have a specific task to do, which can be pouring half a cup of milk or making sure everyone has their safety equipment on. It is bonding with direction.
We teach by principles and an understanding of feelings. Principles guide behavior and help have a general idea of living a life you are proud of. Helps you stay positive, motivated, and grounded. Living a life based on feelings can help you understand yourself, however, we believe that living a life solely based on how you feel can prevent you from living a fulfilling life.

Acerca de nuestro programa
Smiling Hearts Preschool is an early childhood education advocate, learning, and play environment. We would love to guide children through their first 6 years and help set a strong cognitive, social, emotional, physical, and language foundation. We move with love, care, understanding, encouragement, and silliness.
