Ms.Firen, owner and teacher of 7 years. Ms.Firen has been a lead in various aged classrooms over her career and has her CDA (Child Development Achievement) through UNR Extensions. Ms.Firen is also CPR/ First Aide certified & holds all state required trainings for the State of Nevada including her Child Care License.

At Firefly Preschool, children thrive in a nature-based environment with an indoor/ outdoor setting. As a mixed aged group setting children learn to build community amongst each other while Ms.Firen (teacher & owner) nurtures the bond between all students. Ms.Firen sets aside designated one on one time with each child to support their emotional / development and social skills. Children will learn about agriculture, natural resources, self awareness skills, and STEAM inclusive curriculum. This is a majority play- based center, but students will have the option to participate in group activities if they so choose. With this combination or structured and free play environment children will prepare for school years, and socializing in the future.
