Tameka Thomas is a highly experienced child care professional with over 20 years of experience working with children of all ages, from infants to 18 years old. She has completed many hours of professional development in early childhood topics, demonstrating her commitment to providing high-quality care and education to the children she works with. With a wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience, Tameka is well-equipped to meet the diverse needs of children and families in her care. Tameka has obtained a CDA credential and has worked as a lead teacher at a Christian based school in Las Vegas

Our program is designed around a balance of play-based and biblical principles inspired curriculums.
Play-based philosophy of child care focuses on the importance of play in a child’s development and learning. Children are encouraged to explore, create, and express themselves through play, with adult guidance and support. This approach values hands-on, child-led experiences and sees play as the child’s work.
Montessori-inspired philosophy of child care is based on the teachings of Maria Montessori, an Italian physician and educator. This approach emphasizes the child’s independence, self-directed learning, and respect for their natural development. Children are given a prepared environment with materials and activities designed to promote exploration, discovery, and problem-solving. The adult role is to observe and support the child, allowing them to develop at their own pace and follow their individual interests.
